outlining

i have names picked out for the main characters of my story, so i'm very happy. i've decided to go with an idea i had started working with two years ago, but never made any progress with. it's funny...i've had all these stories and scenes in my head for years and years. it's strange to actually think about writing them down. but anyway. this years (and hopefully next year and the next) will comprise what i refer to as the "rockstar trilogy..." i get a lot of inspiration from music, and music peoples that i like. sometimes its something about their aura, or a particular song, that really moves me. so, i create all these things in my head using these things as a functional framework. that makes sense, right? yes. so. i have deteremined a basic plot for each part, and have neato titles and everything. driving home the other day, i totally saw the final scene in the last book. i think i can actually do this.
