script frenzy

i wonder if soap opera scripts are seriously broken down like other ones - act, scene, person etc. do they just do one scrip per scene? i was doing some critical watching the other day and i realized how short some of the scenes are between commercials. for instance, in one five minute stretch i saw about 4 segments. so, having to write your script like that must be complex and confusing. maybe i'd have better luck if i just broke the scripts into person scenes? i should try to find some soap scripts to see how they are laid out. and wow, for next year, i'm so going to read some musicals scripts.
