there's never a good time to start a serious weight loss plan. the week before thanksgiving i realized to my horror that i put on ten of the lbs that i lost this past spring. and i also realized that i needed something more accountable than just my own force of will. so, i joined weight watchers and three weeks later, i've re-lost those ten horrible lbs and am now happily back to getting on track. having those big red points stare at me in the face is the motivation i need. it's like school...i don't like seeing bad grades because i not only let myself down but i always felt like i let my teachers down too. so, just like i don't want to disappoint myself by being bad, i surely don't want to disappoint the virtual momentum people either! and seriously, if i can manage to not go completely nuts during the holiday season, then surely staying on track during the rest of the year will be a total snap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
plus i'm so web insane that i just love logging in immediately after eating to update my points. so really, i can't complain. and since i'm so anti-social/disturbed, there's no way i could actually face going to a real meeting every week, so this momentum this is perfect. snaps the crazy anti-socials ;)
