long time no write

now that this year's nanowrimo is just a few weeks away, i feel compelled to get back to blogging. unlike years past, i've really been working/thinking a lot about my plot for this year. instead of just getting a few scenes worked out in my head, i've actually been writing things down - plot ideas, outlines etc. i'm still no closer to having a whole story shaped, mostly because i keep getting other ideas for how things could go and its a bit distracting. and now that i've thought a lot about it, i'm starting to feel like i'm either tired of the plot, or have hit a logistical roadblock that's preventing me from reaching a conclusion. maybe i need another year to let this one marinate, and i should try working on another idea i have in the cache. maybe i'll try that.
